OutVote

OutVote is a youth-led nonpartisan organization disrupting the landscape of American politics by organizing LGBTQIA+ young people, educating the next generation of LGBTQIA+ voters, and researching the future of our political movement.

ABOUT: OutVote is a youth-led organization mobilizing Gen Z LGBTQ+ voters to build electoral power and restore trust in a more participatory democracy. Since our founding in 2024, OutVote has reached over 2.5 million young LGBTQ+ voters and made 13,000+ direct voter contacts in key states. With youth turnout down 10% in key states from 2020 and nearly one-third of Gen-Z identifying as LGBTQ+, we know our community can impact elections at every level in a critical time for U.S. democracy. In 2026, OutVote is targeting three key congressional districts where our internal research indicates young LGBTQ+ voters can make the marginal difference in the outcome: IA-01, MI-07, and NC-11.
