The purpose of the Youth Empowerment, Education and Resources (YEER) Program is to instill self-respect, self-worth, and professionalism in high school students of Metro-Detroit. This organization shall be to encourage high school students to invest in themselves and give back to their communities.

The objectives of this organization are as follows:

to provide STD/HIV prevention in order to combat the rising HIV rates in Detroit teenagers
to teach communication skills and professional behavior
to empower youth with the resources and motivation to invest in themselves and their communities
to give back to Metro-Detroit by means of outreach projects and donations
to teach youth how to establish and maintain healthy personal and professional relationships
to motivate students to maximize the resources they have and how to create new opportunities
to encourage youth to seek knowledge and utilize resources available
and more
