Sam Noble Museum

The Sam Noble Museum is one of the finest university-based museums in the world. With more than 10 million objects and specimens in its collections, and 12 curators engaged in research projects around the world, the museum is a vital research division of the University of Oklahoma.

Breathtaking galleries feature awesome dinosaurs, including Sauroposeidon, the world’s tallest dinosaur. Realistic nature dioramas showcase Oklahoma’s biodiversity, including a walk-through limestone cave; and the Hall of the People of Oklahoma traces the history of humans in the state, from the earliest archaeological evidence to modern Native Americans.
