Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that every child has the ability to succeed, thrive and reach their fullest potential in life.  As Connecticut’s largest volunteer mentoring network, Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, professionally supported matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in 111 cities and towns across the state. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people in need.

Mission: To provide children in need with outstanding mentors who help them reach their highest potential.
