Sobre Nós
Founded in 1963, Palo Alto Chinese School (PACS) is a Chinese language school based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a long and proud history of Chinese education. PACS is a volunteer-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
PACS is located in Palo Alto in southern part of the San Francisco Peninsula. Families come to PACS from many nearby cities, such as Sunnyvale, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Mountain View and so on.
PACS offers Mandarin Chinese classes from kindergarten to 12th grade on two different curriculums:
- Mandarin curriculum: in general this is for students who have a qualifying background where they are readily exposed to Mandarin inside and outside of the home
- Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) curriculum: in general this is for students who are not readily exposed to Mandarin
- All Mandarin and CSL classes meet every Friday from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
