Youth Empowerment Group is a nonprofit working to address the unprecedented youth mental and behavioral health crisis by equipping youth-serving organizations with life skill curriculums to help young people flourish amidst today's challenges.
Our volunteer team of mental health, education, and medical professionals creates engaging, research-backed curricula that help students build confidence, resilience, and healthy decision-making skills. Through our PowerUp curriculums, youth in grades 5–12 learn practical tools for mental, behavioral and physical health, personal safety, healthy relationships, equality, and academic success.
Our curriculums are designed for simplicity and flexibility. With video-based, plug-and-play lessons, youth-serving organizations can deliver high-impact programming with minimal preparation, training, and supplies. We also incorporate real stories from youth across the country, reinforcing the power of peer-to-peer connection and making lessons more relatable and meaningful.
We currently provide our curricula free of char I've got age to organizations throughout Weld County, Colorado, with additional reach to younger students through summer programming at Aims Community College and licensed use nationwide.
