The mission of United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties is to mobilize the caring power of our community to advance health, education, and financial stability for all.
United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties is driven by a deep commitment to strengthening our community through collaboration, compassion, and impact. Each year, we work to raise $780,000 to support 17 funded partner agencies that provide essential services, uplift families, and help build a healthier, more resilient region for everyone. These agencies bring diverse expertise and unwavering dedication to meeting local needs, forming a powerful network of support that touches lives every day.
In addition to supporting our partner agencies, we collaborate with other organizations through our direct service programs that address critical challenges facing local families. The Resilience Collaborative helps individuals, families, and communities build the skills and connections needed to navigate adversity and foster long-term well-being. Our range of education services is designed to support learners of all ages and includes tutoring, ESL classes, GED preparation, and STEM Saturdays for kids. These programs help children and families build skills, gain confidence, and access opportunities that promote long-term learning and success.
We believe real change happens when we work together. Every initiative we support, every volunteer we mobilize, and every dollar we raise is rooted in a single goal: ensuring everyone in Harrison and Doddridge Counties has the opportunity to thrive. By joining our team, you become part of a mission that connects people, resources, and opportunities, fueling meaningful change and ensuring our partners and programs have what they need to continue their vital work.
