Avon Breast Cancer Crusade implements breast cancer fundraising walks and manages the grant-making program for walk revenues. Avon Breast Cancer Crusade is a single member for which the New Venture Fund, a 501(c) (3) public charity, is the sole member. Avon Breast Cancer Crusade  is governed by a board of managers who oversee its management, operations, and finances.   The vision for Avon Breast Cancer Crusade's grant making is to improve breast cancer outcomes and reduce racial and ethnic disparities in survival rates at the community and national levels. The strategic grant making reflects: a holistic and place‐based approach in high‐need areas throughout the United States; a commitment to investing in research on the prevention, diagnostics, and treatment of breast cancer; and a commitment to enabling access to medical advances and support services for breast cancer patients, particularly those from vulnerable populations.
