OUR MISSION: To empower people in Sarasota and Manatee Counties to overcome trauma and strengthen resilience for greater individual and community well-being.

You've probably felt it. That sense that people in our community aren't really talking to each other anymore. That we're more divided, more frustrated, more disconnected than we used to be.

SRQ Strong is doing something about it.

We bring together residents from across Sarasota and Manatee County with different backgrounds, different neighborhoods, different opinions, and we offer a space where they can connect, heal, and practice community building.

We believe healing begins with trust, safety, and deep listening. By educating people about trauma and resilience, they become equipped with tools for change. Through collective, community-driven action, individuals become connected and build shared leadership within their lives and communities.
