Jewish Family & Children's Service (JF&CS) cares for individuals and families by providing exceptional human service and health care programs, guided by Jewish traditions of social responsibility, compassion, and respect for all members of the community.

For almost 150 years, Jewish Family & Children's Service has been the safety net for over 30,000 individuals and families in 80 Greater Boston communities. Since its inception, the focus of JF&CS has been to support our friends and neighbors through difficult life transitions and times of personal crisis, offering programs and services for every stage of life.

JF&CS is especially responsive to the needs of vulnerable members of our community: newborns and their parents, individuals with development disabilities or persistent mental illness, families at risk and the frail elderly. What makes our continuum of programs unique is our steadfast dedication to caring not only for the physical and economic health of individuals and families, but also for their emotional and spiritual well-being.

JF&CS is always ready to respond, no matter how difficult the problem and regardless of a person's background or ability to pay.
