Our mission is to improve safety and quality of life for individuals with disabilities by helping families create secure and accessible spaces. Inspired by Lyla’s journey, Lylas Legacy Inc is committed to fostering dignity, inclusion, and support for the special needs community

Why We Do This

Families raising children—or caring for loved ones of any age—with special needs or disabilities often face unique safety concerns, financial strain, and social isolation. Many individuals are at risk due to wandering, sensory needs, communication challenges, or a lack of accessible environments. Although our primary focus is on autism, Lyla’s Legacy Inc. proudly serves individuals with all special needs and disabilities. We believe everyone deserves to feel safe, included, supported, and celebrated—and every family deserves compassion without judgment.

What We Do

• Provide safety fencing and equipment to families in need through our Fencing for Families program
• Create inclusive community events, including Lyla’s Luau, where families can connect in a safe, welcoming environment
• Support sensory-friendly experiences and activities for individuals of all abilities
• Offer resources and encouragement to caregivers navigating the challenges of special needs and disability care
• Build community awareness and advocacy for inclusion, safety, acceptance, and accessibility
