NAEYC Accredited , non-profit preschool in Los Altos is seeking a Teacher to be a floater. Los Altos-Mountain View Children's Corner Inc. believes the primary purpose of early childhood education is to develop each child's innate love of learning and discovery. We provide a child-centered, developmentally appropriate program that balances structure and exploration, allows children to explore new skills, and gain confidence and motivation from their emerging abilities. Student to teacher ratio is 5:1 to 8:1.

One of the most significant elements of our program is the interaction between adults and children. For this reason, staff is chosen for their qualities of warmth, encouragement, and energy, as well as for their knowledge of early childhood development and education, and their experience working with young children.  Teachers participate in continuing education and professional associations, and serve as mentors and consultants to other programs.
