CornerHouse is also valued as an industry resource; teaching and sharing best practices, observations, and techniques in forensic interviewing.
Founded in 1989 at the inception of the Children’s Advocacy Center model, CornerHouse was created to provide a safe, child‑centered space for children and families impacted by abuse. As one of the first centers of its kind, CornerHouse pioneered the CornerHouse Forensic Interview Protocol™, which has since become a nationally and internationally recognized standard. For more than 35 years, we have stood as a trusted place of safety, healing, and hope for thousands of children and families.
