Nokomis Healthy Seniors Program

Our mission is to enhance the lives of our community's elders by helping them to continue to live in the homes they love. We achieve this by coordinating volunteer assistance, affordable health services, and community resources.

Nokomis Healthy Seniors, a Living at Home/Block Nurse Program was formed in February 1994 to provide a high quality, cost effective way to meet the need of elders in the Nokomis community. The program gives community volunteers an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and increases connections between neighbors. Our service area includes the following neighborhoods: Field, Regina, Northrup; Hale, Page, Diamond Lake; standish-Ericsson and Nokomis East.
