CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF COLUMBIA AND GREENE COUNTIES

Enrich and enhance your community life by lending a friendly hand to someone in need! Catholic Charities of Columbia & Greene Counties is actively recruiting volunteers to support seniors in our community for whom a little bit of help can go a long way.

The Aging Life Services Program through Catholic Charities strives to connect older adults with services and other folks in their community to enable them to live safely at home and maintain their quality of life. In addition to professional staff, the program also utilizes volunteers to provide vital in-home services and supports. Volunteers are needed in Columbia & Greene counties.

Volunteer opportunities to help can include:

· Transportation to medical appointments, community events & for running errands

· Grocery shopping for or with clients

· Light housekeeping and/or yardwork

· Friendly visits or phone calls

· Reading for the visually impaired
