At A Step Up In Living, our mission is to provide more than just a place to sleep. We are dedicated to offering a pathway to stability for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Smithville, TX. By focusing on the pillars of Basic Needs and Stable Housing, we bridge the gap between crisis and self-sufficiency.

We are a community-driven organization committed to treating every neighbor with dignity and respect. Every night, we provide safe shelter for 15 people and families, but our work doesn’t stop at the front door. We are a team of advocates, volunteers, and partners working together to solve the root causes of housing instability.
