Founded in 2013, the New York City Foundation for Computer Science Education (CSNYC) is working to ensure that all of New York City’s public school students have access to high-quality computer science education. In 2015, CSNYC partnered with the City of New York, the NYC Department of Education and Robin Hood Foundation to launch Computer Science for All (CS4All), a 10-year initiative to scale computer science education to 100% of the city’s public schools.
CSNYC was founded by tech investor Fred Wilson and is supported by philanthropy and local technology companies.
