  • About Us

Founded in 2013, the New York City Foundation for Computer Science Education (CSNYC) is working to ensure that all of New York City’s public school students have access to high-quality computer science education. In 2015, CSNYC partnered with the City of New York, the NYC Department of Education and Robin Hood Foundation to launch Computer Science for All (CS4All), a 10-year initiative to scale computer science education to 100% of the city’s public schools.

CSNYC was founded by tech investor Fred Wilson and is supported by philanthropy and local technology companies.
