Located in the heart of Brownsville, one of the most economically challenged communities of NYC, Brookdale remains dedicated to its founding mission, which is being the focus of a healthy community, stressing the organization’s values of caring and respect for everyone.

HealthySteps is an evidence-based, interdisciplinary pediatric primary care program that promotes positive parenting and healthy development for babies and toddlers, with an emphasis on families living in low-income communities. Since 2016, the Brookdale Family Care Centers at New Lots and Eastern Parkway have offered this unique program to families.
