Friends of New Mexico Fisher House

The Friends of New Mexico Fisher House provide financial assistance to the New Mexico Fisher House, located at the Raymond G. Murphy Veterans Medical Center in Albuquerque, to support America's service members, veterans, and their families by providing a cost free "home away from home" for military families during hospitalization.

Friends of New Mexico Fisher House supports the Fisher House built by the Fisher House Foundation on the grounds of the Raymond G Murphy Veterans Medical Center in Albuquerque NM. The organization supports America's Veterans and active duty service members in their time of need by providing a home away from home to enable families to be close during hospitalization. The Fisher House provides housing for families of Veterans and Active Duty Service Members free of charge with a private room, shared kitchen and laundry room facilities, and outdoor areas while their loved one is in the care of the Veterans Hospital. The House is within walking distance of the hospital.

Organization volunteers participate in on-site assistance, outreach, and fundraising events to support the Albuquerque Fisher House, because a family’s love is good medicine.
