Mid America Freedom Band is a 100% voluntary community band, organized primarily to provide an opportunity for musicians in any community to play music together while striving for musical excellence the band purpose includes:
- Providing an opportunity for public performances for musicians
- Furthering public appreciation and understanding of bands and other musical arts
- Creating and maintaining a non-professional band for men and women from diverse backgrounds and playing levels in the Kansas City Metropolitan area
- Providing social and fellowship experience to help build community spirit!
