    Mid America Freedom Band is a 100% voluntary community band, organized primarily to provide an opportunity for musicians in any community to play music together while striving for musical excellence the band purpose includes:

    1. Providing an opportunity for public performances for musicians
    2. Furthering public appreciation and understanding of bands and other musical arts
    3. Creating and maintaining a non-professional band for men and women from diverse backgrounds and playing levels in the Kansas City Metropolitan area
    4. Providing social and fellowship experience to help build community spirit!
