Trial Impact Project
Sobre Nós
Trial Impact Project, formerly known as Social Justice Legal Foundation is a nonprofit impact litigation firm dedicated to advancing civil rights and economic justice. We do this by bringing precedent-setting cases designed for trial and by training the next generation of civil rights litigators through our two-year fellowships.
Since its inception in 2021, Trial Impact Project has grown from a two-person operation to a team of experienced litigators. Working with our founding law firm, academics, and organizers, we bring strategic litigation where we can do the greatest good within broader movements. Our active docket tackles police practices, conditions of immigrant detention, civil liberties in jails, and punitive fines that trap people in a cycle of debt.
Our focus is to bring to trial the nation’s most impactful, precedent-setting cases in targeted areas of economic and social justice and equity, which will include:
- Economic Justice
- Housing/Homeless Discrimination
- LGBTQ+ Rights
- Immigrant Justice
- Native American Discrimination
- Voting Rights
- Criminal Justice Reform
Causas incluem:
- Moradia & Moradores de Rua
- Imigrantes ou Refugiados
- LGBT
- Reforma Carcerária
