Rising Juntos

Our mission is to build power among low-income families of color to advance racial, economic, and

health justice for Contra Costa children and families.

Rising Juntos is a community-powered organization that builds leadership and voice among lowincome

families of color for a healthy, safe, and equitable Contra Costa. We advance family wellbeing

and racial, economic, and social justice by shaping public decisions and investments. Our

proven model of resident organizing includes the whole family and forges a countywide movement for

transformative, intergenerational change. Rising Juntos is fiscally sponsored by Urban Habitat.

Our vision is that all Contra Costa children and families live with dignity and well-being in healthy,

safe, and equitable communities.
