Ndabuchiseh is a nonprofit organization that focuses on steering young people away from armed conflict by equipping them with leadership skills, nonviolence training, vocational tools, and psychosocial support.

Who We Are

Ndabuchiseh is a youth-led, grassroots non-profit organization based in Bamenda, Cameroon, dedicated to transforming conflict zones into hubs of sustainable growth. Born out of a critical need to counter the devastating impacts of regional crises and armed conflict, we operate as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for systemic change.

The name "Ndabuchiseh" itself carries a profound meaning—translating to "The House of Peace" or "The Foundation of Peace." This name serves as our daily mandate: to build a safe, inclusive space where young people can heal, learn, and rebuild their societies.

🤝 Whom We Serve

Our primary focus is on the vulnerable youth, women, and marginalized populations of Cameroon, particularly those heavily affected by the Anglophone crisis. We specifically serve:

• At-Risk Youth: Young individuals vulnerable to radicalization, violence, or recruitment by armed groups.
• Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs): Families and youth forced to flee their homes due to insecurity.
• Young Women and Girls: Empowering them with economic independence and a voice in local leadership.

🚀 What We Do (Our Pillars of Impact)

We bridge the gap between emergency survival and long-term community resilience through three main pillars:

1. Peace Education & Scout Training: We scout, mentor, and train young leaders in nonviolent communication, mediation, and civic responsibility, turning them into active peacebuilders in their neighborhoods.
2. Vocational & Economic Empowerment: To combat youth unemployment—a major driver of conflict—we provide practical vocational skills, digital literacy, and entrepreneurial training so youth can build sustainable livelihoods.
3. Environmental & Climate Action: We engage communities in tree planting, sustainable agriculture, and climate awareness campaigns to protect our local ecosystems and prevent resource-based disputes.
