Help Strengthen Community-Led Development and Peacebuilding in Cameroon!

*Ndabuchiseh* (www.ndabuchiseh.org), *Martin Luther King University Institute* Bamenda (MALUKU)(www.malukuuniversity.org), and *Rohi Foundation* (www.rohifoundationcameroon.org) are seeking *experienced US-based fundraising professionals and development volunteers* to join our growing international fundraising and partnership network.

Our organisations work in areas including peacebuilding, youth development, education, livelihoods, community resilience, leadership development, human rights and conflict-affected communities in Cameroon.

We are particularly interested in volunteers with experience in:

• US foundation fundraising
• Grant research and prospect development
• Grant writing and Letters of Inquiry
• Major donor and individual giving
• Faith-based fundraising
• Corporate and family foundations
• Donor relationship management
• US nonprofit development
• Fundraising communications
• Diaspora and community fundraising
• Strategic partnerships and institutional networking
• What would you do?*

Depending on your experience and availability, volunteers may:

• Identify and research potential US funders;
• Develop and maintain a US donor prospect pipeline;
• Review and strengthen grant proposals;
• Help develop fundraising strategies and annual fundraising plans;
• Introduce our organisations to appropriate foundations, churches, universities, philanthropists and nonprofit networks;
• Advise on donor communications and stewardship;
• Help build long-term institutional partnerships between US organisations and community-led initiatives in Cameroon.
• Who are we looking for?*

We welcome applications from US-based professionals who have:

• Practical fundraising or nonprofit development experience;
• Knowledge of the US philanthropic landscape;
• Strong communication and networking skills;
• An interest in international development, peacebuilding, education or social justice;
• The ability to work remotely and collaboratively;
• A willingness to volunteer approximately 3–5 hours per month or more, depending on availability.

Experience working with African organisations or international development organisations is helpful but not required.
