Be My Neighbor Day 2025 volunteer support on Saturday, April 5. The event will run from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at KPBS on the SDSU campus (5200 Campanile Drive, San Diego, 92182). Set-up will begin at 7:00 a.m. and teardown will occur from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. From 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be a variety of volunteer roles and responsibilities.

Be My Neighbor Day is a free outdoor event for young children and families. This year, we'll celebrate what it means to be a community helper, just like Daniel Tiger! It's never too early to be a contributing member of the community. Join us to learn how even a small act of service can bring a lot of joy and make a very big difference. Leading sponsors are PNC Grow Up Great, Fred Rogers Productions, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Frieda Berlinski Foundation, and KPBS.
