    About Us

    Be My Neighbor Day 2025 volunteer support on Saturday, April 5. The event will run from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at KPBS on the SDSU campus (5200 Campanile Drive, San Diego, 92182). Set-up will begin at 7:00 a.m. and teardown will occur from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. From 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be a variety of volunteer roles and responsibilities.

    Be My Neighbor Day is a free outdoor event for young children and families. This year, we'll celebrate what it means to be a community helper, just like Daniel Tiger! It's never too early to be a contributing member of the community. Join us to learn how even a small act of service can bring a lot of joy and make a very big difference. Leading sponsors are PNC Grow Up Great, Fred Rogers Productions, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the Frieda Berlinski Foundation, and KPBS. Without volunteers, the event would not be possible. We're so appreciative of your support!
