Carrying on the legacy of Saint Óscar A. Romero — who asked the Cleveland Latin American Mission team to begin the work of COAR before his assassination — we believe every child deserves dignity, healing, and a future full of hope. COAR Peace Mission supports Salvadoran youth in a variety of ways, including:
• The Children’s Village, a residential foster care community for children and teens who have experienced violence, abuse, or other trauma
• A school serving more than a thousand students from pre-K to 12th grade
• Enrichment programs in vocational training, youth development, and community health
