Pet Pride of New York saves the lives of homeless cats in our community by providing sanctuary, veterinary care, and adoption into loving homes. We operate a no-kill cat sanctuary and adoption center in Victor, New York, and we maintain a network of foster homes for our youngest kittens and our expectant and nursing moms. We take in cats and kittens who are stray, abandoned, voluntarily surrendered, or orphaned. Once a cat is admitted to Pet Pride, they stay with us for as long as it takes to find their new home. In 2025, we placed 886 cats into adoptive homes.

Our cats enjoy a clean, safe, and stimulating environment while they await adoption. They are free to roam inside the sanctuary, interact with volunteers and visitors, and safely enjoy the outdoors on our screened catios. Pet Pride cats receive expert veterinary care in our own on-site medical center, and they are tested, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Pet Pride of New York, Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, incorporated in New York State in 1977. Pet Pride advances the cause of animal welfare in our community by spaying and neutering all cats in our care and by connecting people with reliable information about responsible cat ownership, cat care and behavior, and other topics relating to the humane treatment of all cats.
