Cowtown S.K.A.T.E.

Rooted in community development, Cowtown S.K.A.T.E. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to the physical, mental, and social health benefits of skateboarding. Through resource development and capacity building, our work provides goods, education, and support to youth in underserved communities.

Our vision is to see a future where skateboarding is recognized as a catalyst for personal growth and positive impact that strengthens community.

Cowtown Skateboards (LLC) is a local business established in 1997 by skateboarders, for skateboarders. Over these years, Cowtown has nurtured the Arizona skate scene and culture, growing to be the hub of skateboarding in the southwest. The unique shop experience, a subculture all its own, along with skateboarders, artists, musicians, and multigenerational loyal customers come together to make Cowtown the brand it is today. By keeping true to their values of community, integrity, and putting people first, Cowtown S.K.A.T.E. was established.

In 2018, Cowtown S.K.A.T.E. was born from an overwhelming sense of community and the love of skateboarding. Cowtown S.K.A.T.E. is the vessel in which we can pay forward the enjoyment we have experienced through skateboarding and to guide youth toward a better tomorrow.
