Access Unlocked is a global, youth-led initiative dedicated to empowering refugee and immigrant youth through the creation and translation of practical, culturally responsive resources. Our international team-comprising students from Brazil, the United States, Turkey, Pakistan, Australia, and beyond-works collaboratively to produce accessible guides, templates, and evidence-based educational modules that address the real-world challenges faced by diverse communities. In partnership with NGOs and in ongoing dialogue with UNICEF, we are expanding our reach into schools, EALD departments, and youth organisations-bridging systemic gaps through inclusive, student-driven innovation. As we continue to grow, we are establishing new chapters around the world and developing original curriculum modules, such as a mental health education program exploring the impact of social media, designed for integration into school systems. Above all, we aim to maximise our impact and ensure that every young person-regardless of age, language, or background-has the opportunity to have their access unlocked.
NOTE: While Access Unlocked was founded in Australia, we’ve grown to include chapters in other countries, led by passionate students working on resources tailored to their communities. We’d be happy to support you in starting a chapter in your own region.
