Resilience Force

Resilience Force is a fast-growing national nonprofit organization working to transform America’s response to disasters by strengthening and securing the country’s Resilience Workforce—the millions of people whose work, heart, and expertise make sustainable recovery from disasters possible. The nonprofit responds to natural and public health disasters across the US—with on the ground deployment, advocacy, and thought leadership to support workers, especially immigrants and workers of color. Areas of focus include a pilot Resilience Corps program in New Orleans, on the ground organizing of resilience workers, legal and policy advocacy at the federal and state levels, and culture change work such as the Immigrants Are Essential campaign.
