At the 6th Melbourne 2008 Homeless World Cup 56 nations, players who are homeless, will be united to represent their country and change their lives. Over 70% change after participating coming off drugs and alcohol, moving in to homes, jobs, education, repairing relationships, even becoming coaches and pro-players.
The Homeless World Cup has triggered football programmes in over 60 nations working with 30,000 people who are homeless all year round.
