Inkwell Montessori

Inkwell Montessori creates an authentic bilingual Montessori learning environment where children are free to learn, grow, and discover. Serving children ages 2.9 to 6 in Cambridge, our school is grounded in respect for the child, a carefully prepared classroom, and the belief that children learn best through purposeful work, independence, and curiosity. Through strong foundations in literacy, Spanish immersion, daily time outdoors, and opportunities to explore hands-on robotics and coding materials, Inkwell supports children as they develop confidence, concentration, and a lifelong love of learning.

Inkwell Montessori is a new bilingual Montessori preschool opening in Cambridge and serving children ages 2.9 to 6. Founded by Cambridge native Ọna Anosike, the school draws inspiration from Inkwell Beach in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, a place with a long history of community, culture, and belonging.

At Inkwell, children learn in a mixed-age Montessori classroom designed to support independence, concentration, and meaningful work. The environment is carefully prepared with Montessori materials that allow children to explore language, mathematics, practical life, and the world around them through hands-on learning.

Our program includes strong foundations in literacy, Spanish immersion, daily time outdoors, and opportunities to explore screen-free robotics and coding materials. These experiences support curiosity, problem-solving, and confidence as children grow.

Inkwell is part of the Wildflower Schools network and is rooted in the belief that children thrive in environments that respect their development and connect learning to community. Our goal is to create a thoughtful, welcoming school where children build strong academic foundations and a lasting sense of independence.
