MAD Park Community

MAD PARK Community empowers youth and families in Charleston, SC to live, move, feel, and lead well, year round. We believe wellness is not a season. It's a practice, a community, and a right that every child and family deserves access to.

MAD PARK Community was born in Charleston in 2021 out of a deep belief that our young people are not problems to be solved, they are leaders to be developed. We exist to walk alongside youth scholars and their families, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and community to thrive in every area of their lives.

Our programming goes far beyond a single session or season. We show up year-round with intentional, relationship-centered experiences that touch nutrition, physical movement, mental and emotional wellness, and youth leadership. From hands-on nutrition education that teaches scholars what it means to fuel their bodies well, to movement programming that builds confidence as much as it builds fitness; everything we do is designed to create lasting impact.

Families are not on the sidelines at MAD PARK. They are partners in this work. We believe that when a child is empowered, and their family is supported, entire communities begin to shift. That's the Charleston we're building toward, one scholar, one family, one village at a time.
