ARIT supports U.S. and Canadian research in all fields of the humanities and social sciences in Turkey. ARIT administers fellowship programs and operates research centers in Istanbul and Ankara. Each center provides library, lodging, and research support services. ARIT develops local programs on Turkish history and culture.
