Systems Acumen For Youth-Led Development Solutions

We use design thinking, science of learning concepts and various research methods to identify and design methods/strategies that can be used to effectively equip youth with practical skills that enable them to deeply examine complex problems and effectively solve them. Our mission is to tackle youth civic marginalization, exclusion, and disengagement so that youth are always meaningfully involved in governance, policy-making, and solving social problems in their communities.

SAYDS equips young people with complexity and systems thinking skills required to solve complex social problems primarily via our Fellowship program and other outreach programs. The SAYDS Fellowship is a 9-month program that equips young people from different parts of Kenya with knowledge that enables them to critically look at the social issues in their communities and design lasting solutions. We are now a growing community of citizens who want and are working towards a better nation and Africa.
