YWCA of San Diego County empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness, and achieve self-sufficiency. We are dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and advocating for peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people.

For many survivors, the trauma of violence and abuse is compounded by racial inequities, gender biases, social stigmas, cultural expectations, and economic hardships. Through comprehensive and flexible solutions, we aim to lift their voices, dismantle barriers to their health and well-being, and provide resources and opportunities to help them achieve their dreams.
