  • Missão

Ou mission as a humanitarian organization is to improve the quality of life for people in Central America by strengthening health care systems and promoting sustainable community development.

    Sobre Nós

Launched in 1993 by former Peace Corps nurse, Kathryn M. Tschiegg, RN, BBA, CAMO is a non-denominational Christian based humanitarian organization that brings life-saving medical services, education and community development to Central America. CAMO provides more than 140,000 life-saving services each year to impoverished people who otherwise would not have access to aid. CAMO takes in annually over $2 million in donations of medical equipment and supplies. We use volunteers to process the donations - sending them to Central America for use. CAMO has 18 active programs utilizing volunteers and staff. CAMO works in 4 primary areas to serve, Medical Services, Training and Education and Community Development. CAMO uses volunteers both in Central America and in the USA to create and sustain life-saving and life-changing programs. Sustainability is requirement for all that we do. CAMO is a unique organization in that we use a counterpart system to empower the people that we serve. CAMO truly brings HOPE to the Forgotten. People who can't even imagine a world with the very basic things we take for granted, running water, electricity and food. Be a part of our mission - be a part of something bigger than you!
