    Ou mission as a humanitarian organization is to improve teh quality of life for people in Central America by strenghtening health care systems and promoting sustainable community development.

    About Us

    CAMO was first launced in 1993 by Kathy Tschiegg, a fromer Peace Corps nurse who saw too many Honduran infants and children die due to lack of medical equipment and technology. Today CAMO is one of the most recognized non-profit health care organizations in teh region. It serves more than 100,000 people annually with services ranging from breast exams and eye care to to prosthetics, neo-natal care and eye surgery.
