St. Therese Catholic Academy

St. Therese Catholic Academy is a diverse Preschool-8th grade Catholic school located in Seattle’s Madrona neighborhood. Now celebrating our 91st anniversary, we are recognized for our outstanding academic programs (individualized blended learning and school wide service-learning programs), family-like atmosphere, cultural diversity and openness to people from all walks of life.

Embracing diversity is a cornerstone of our mission. Our students and staff represent a variety of faith traditions, cultures and family backgrounds. Of our current 154 students:

Over 70% of our student body receives financial aid (In 2018-187, we provide over $320,000 in assistance)  

Over 40% of our families qualify for free/reduced lunch

Our students come from 35+ zip codes

90% of our students identify as people of color

33% of our students identify as more than one race

40% our staff identify as people of color
