Musical Cheer is a student-led initiative dedicated to spreading cheer through live music performances at senior living communities. We welcome high school aged musicians—including vocalists and instrumentalists, solo performers and groups—who are eager to use their talents to brighten someone’s day. Volunteers perform music for residents at local senior homes, hospitals, and care facilities. We have no minimum commitment—volunteers can choose when they want to perform.

We work with senior living facilities around Fairfield, Connecticut. Volunteers can sign up to perform at whichever facility is most convenient for them.

You can become a volunteer today in 5 simple steps:
Step 1: Fill out this Volunteer Interest Form: https://forms.gle/EY36nwn4CYiFWtHVA
Step 2: We will reach out to you confirming your participation with Musical Cheer. During this step, we will also provide you with access to our Musician Portal, which is where you will sign up for volunteer opportunities.
Step 3: Each time we post new volunteer opportunities to our Musician Portal, we will send you an email.
Step 4: If you are available, sign up and confirm that you are willing and able to volunteer.
Step 5: Arrive 10-15 minutes beforehand, perform and make a positive impact on your gracious audience!
