Secretary- Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network

The Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network ( CVDPN) needs a Board Secretary (Executive Assistant) as a part-time volunteer position.

Examples of tasks:

• Prepare Board Meeting agenda, minutes, notes.
• Monthly reporting on program progress toward goals.
• Communications with CVDPN Board Members, advisors, donors, and volunteers.
• Aproximately 20 hours a month
• 2 Board meetings monthly
• Volunteer in person

Qualifications:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Prior experience in administration, marketing, or communications.
• Energy, creativity, and attention to detail
• Flexible and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Very organized with good follow-up skills.
• Spanish-speaking a plus, but not required.
