-RSVP volunteers are being directed to follow the CDC and their local health department’s COVID-19 guidelines and guidance and directives of their specific volunteer station.
Description
The Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network ( CVDPN) needs a Board Secretary (Executive Assistant) as a part-time volunteer position.
Examples of tasks:
- Prepare Board Meeting agenda, minutes, notes.
- Monthly reporting on program progress toward goals.
- Communications with CVDPN Board Members, advisors, donors, and volunteers.
- Aproximately 20 hours a month
- 2 Board meetings monthly
- Volunteer in person
Qualifications:
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience in administration, marketing, or communications.
- Energy, creativity, and attention to detail
- Flexible and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Very organized with good follow-up skills.
- Spanish-speaking a plus, but not required.
