Role Summary
We are seeking a Grants & Partnerships Lead to oversee EduFilm’s grant activities. This volunteer will supervise grant applications, strategize funding opportunities, and ensure high-quality proposals and reporting. This is an hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising while supporting programs that make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all grant applications and strategy
- Review proposals drafted by the Grants Research & Writing Assistants
- Maintain a grants tracker for deadlines, submissions, and reporting
- Communicate with donors and partners
- Support budget preparation for grant submissions
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the Grants Research & Writing Assistants
- Attend brief weekly check-ins with the EduFilm team
Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Organized and able to manage deadlines
- Experience with grant writing or nonprofit fundraising preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working remotely
- Self-driven and collaborative
- Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets or online project management tools
