    EduFilm is a youth-led nonprofit that transforms education through film and digital storytelling. We work with youth, educators, and communities—especially in conflict-affected and under-served areas—to create learning experiences that educate, empower, and inspire.

    Role Summary

    We are seeking a Grants & Partnerships Lead to oversee EduFilm’s grant activities. This volunteer will supervise grant applications, strategize funding opportunities, and ensure high-quality proposals and reporting. This is an hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising while supporting programs that make a real impact.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all grant applications and strategy
    • Review proposals drafted by the Grants Research & Writing Assistants
    • Maintain a grants tracker for deadlines, submissions, and reporting
    • Communicate with donors and partners
    • Support budget preparation for grant submissions
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Grants Research & Writing Assistants
    • Attend brief weekly check-ins with the EduFilm team

    Qualifications

    • Strong writing and communication skills
    • Organized and able to manage deadlines
    • Experience with grant writing or nonprofit fundraising preferred, but not required
    • Comfortable working remotely
    • Self-driven and collaborative
    • Familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets or online project management tools
