Position Summary: The Main Lobby Greeter is the first point of contact for all visitors, guests, and vendors. This role creates a welcoming atmosphere by greeting individuals as they arrive, assisting with the visitor sign-in process, and connecting them with the appropriate staff. The Greeter helps ensure smooth daily operations by providing basic information and general support in the main lobby.
Schedule Options:
- Monday–Friday
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Shift 2: 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Volunteers may serve one shift or both shifts per day, depending on availability.
Position Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, guests, and vendors in a warm and professional manner.
- Oversee the sign-in/out process for all visitors and vendors.
- Contact or page staff members when a visitor or vendor arrives.
- Page staff for scheduled meetings as needed.
- Monitor and maintain the visitor log to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide basic information or directions to visitors (e.g., restrooms, meeting rooms, parking).
- Offer general support in the lobby area as directed by staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Friendly, welcoming, and approachable demeanor.
- Reliable and punctual with good communication skills.
- Ability to use or learn a paging system and phone.
- Comfortable interacting with a variety of people.
- Ability to sit or stand at the front desk for the duration of the shift.
