Non-Profit Board Member

Are you passionate about strengthening communities and helping nonprofits grow? HOPE NC is seeking new board members with experience in fundraising, development, accounting and communications to help guide our next chapter of growth.

HOPE NC creates inclusive housing opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), empowering them to live independently in neighborhoods where they are fully integrated with neighbors both with and without disabilities, while receiving the supports they need to thrive.

As HOPE NC now supports adults with I/DD in three communities, our impact—and our responsibilities—continue to grow. We are expanding our funding sources, building long-term sustainability, and increasing awareness of our mission. We are especially interested in board members who can provide strategic coaching and expertise in:

• Fundraising and donor development

• Grant and foundation relations

• Communications, marketing, and storytelling

• Nonprofit growth and sustainability planning and/or finance/accounting
