    Volunteer Grant Writer & Fundraising Coordinator (Remote, Flexible Hours)

    Description:

    Skillful Steps is a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to ending generational poverty and recidivism through workforce development and CDL training for justice-involved adults.

    We’re looking for a passionate volunteer with a background in nonprofit development, grant writing, or fundraising to help us secure funding and scale our impact. This position is remote-friendly with flexible hours (3–5 hrs/week).

    Key Tasks Include:

    • Identifying grant opportunities
    • Drafting proposals and LOIs
    • Assisting with donor outreach and sponsorship requests
    • Collaborating with our CEO and team on fundraising strategy

    Your work will directly support second-chance adults in gaining employment, financial independence, and dignity.
